BowelScan is not a money raising program. Rotary Clubs, Pharmacies and the medical testing organisations all volunteer their time. Rotary BowelScan complements the Australian National scheme run in conjunction with all State Health Departments introduced under Medicare. That program is currently offered to adults aged 55, 60 and 65 only, with the possibility of one follow up screening.
